A year of envelopes traces the artist's attempt at opening her envelopes instead of letting them pile up in forgotten piles around the house. Anything goes. I'd always wanted to do a series that reflected everyday life: complicated, mundane, interesting and thoughtful and ongoing. . . . Now I have to write that series, just in order to keep those envelopes opening
